About us
The Severson Agency first opened its doors in 1925 under the ownership and management of Millard Severson. After many years of success and growth in the Altamont community, David F. Cowan; a WW-II navigator on a B-17 Bommer assumed ownership of the agency after he met and married Frances Severson, the daughter of Millard Severson.
The business was then passed down from father to son; David Cowan Jr. in 1980. Remaining family owned, the agency was passed down for its now third generation to Zachery Cowan. For over 87 years the Severson Agency has remained a family owned company dedicated to providing superior service in meeting the needs of its customers, and community. Gallery Arrow Style - determines the style of the arrows used to cycle through the slides.

Gallery Show Arrows - choose to use arrows for cycling through slides.

Event Time Format - toggle between 24 hour or AM/PM for event times.
Event Icons - enable icons on the address and event time display.

Event Date Label - enable date overlay on top of event thumbnail.
